Ingredients
-
1 - 15 oz can Cannellini Beans
-
2 TBSP Extra-virgin Olive Oil
-
2 cloves Garlic
-
2 tsp Dried Sage
-
1 1/2 cups Tomato Sauce
-
1-2 sprigs Fresh Thyme
-
1-2 TBSP Pantala Dukkah Nut & Spice Blend
-
2-3 sprigs Green Onion - for topping
-
To taste Salt & Pepper
Instructions:
Step 1:
1. Heat olive oil in the pot over medium heat. Sauté garlic and sage in hot oil until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add beans; cook and stir until beans absorb the aroma of garlic and sage.
Step 2:
2. Pour in tomato sauce and add sprigs of Thyme; bring to a simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, until beans are soft but not mushy, 10 to 15 minutes. Add reserved cooking water to keep sauce from burning if needed. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 3:
3. Upon serving, top with Pantala Dukkah and green onions. Enjoy!
